As I sit here on this Thanksgiving night, waiting until the last moment to sit down and write, looking back over the last month and wondering where it went, I am reminded of a saying I recently picked up and put next to my coffee maker. “Today is like coffee. It will be as good as you make it.”
Those words are so very true, and we so often forget to make the most of our day regardless of seeming road blocks along the way.
And that means sharing our positivity, glass half full outlook. We so often forget that turn the other cheek simply means that “they know not what they do.” This month, rather than focusing on how to eat healthy, lets focus on a healthier outlook. Let’s focus on “unconditional love”, even when we know our loved ones are making choices that are not ours. Because if we can love them through it, we may just help them heal through it.
This holiday season, let us come together as one and love our neighbors as we love ourselves, because our neighbors may just have the answers we are seeking. Listen to one another without preconceptions and give each individual the respect of truly listening. Because a wise man hears before he speaks.
This holiday season, we need to be the wise men and listen to the world. Our loved ones, our neighbors, the weather, even the stars are telling us stories if we will but listen with an open mind. Let truth flow through us from all and let’s begin a journey of healing that can take us into a new beginning. Let’s all be the energy that starts the healing process on this amazing world and make next years new beginning the best that it can be.
From our homes to yours, with love, unconditionally.
